Fríd, aka Sigfríð, is a young Icelandic, self-styled electro-pop producer, with grit, determination and just a little darkness.
Powerful, emotive lyrics are backed-up by experimentation in synth & sound with the Roland Juno-DS. Layering, mixing, glitching.
From writing songs in her bedroom as a teenager, the project has evolved with Fríd now an accomplished solo-producer and songwriter - compared to the likes of BANKS & Charli XCX - all set for the rescheduled 2020 Secret Solstice this summer.

Iceland Airwaves voted Ásta as their Best New Artist, and she's set for the 2021 edition.
Even the name Ásta itself, comes from the Icelandic for love, ‘Ást’. And with every lyric written, every strum of the guitar, Ásta puts all her heart into this beckoning music career.

Born in Serbia and raised in Canada, having set up home in Iceland, Jelena released the EP 'Shelters one' to fantastic fanfare online & offline late last year. With features from Folk UK, Get In Her Ears & Great Dark Wonder and more.
Icelandic National Broadcaster RÚV were huge fans of lead track 'Lines', playing out across their network, as well as the highly regarded, indie radio station Amazing Radio in the UK & US.
